Population of Russian regions about some measures of demographic policy

This article analyzes the attitude of the population to new demographic policy measures in the sphere of fertility. The data was provided within the research project "Reproductive plans of Russians", conducted under the direction of Russian statistical service (Rosstat) in autumn 2012. The author participated in the preparation of the research program, tools and in the processing its results.

Economic growth and development: regional application

The paper considers the interrelation between economic growth and economic development in the context of regional economic policy. The author analyses targeting parameters of the state development program for the Far East and Baikal Region. The article proves that the orientation on growth rates increasing of macroeconomic indicators is not equal to the task of accelerating of economy and social sphere development.

Inter-Municipal cooperation: lessons of foreign experience

The article examines the experience of inter-municipal government in France. The paper allocates national and historical factors, which generated the importance of inter-municipal institutions for the implementation of socio-economic interests of local communities. The paper contains the analysis of some contradictions and gaps in the implementation mechanisms of inter-municipal institutions as well as their assessment by French researchers and practitioners. The author comes to the conclusion that the investigation of national experience of France is important for Russia, at the time when institutions of inter-municipal cooperation are only at the initial stage of their formation.
