The modern view of political and legal aspects of state power crisis in the USSR

The Empire and Strife as invariants of Russian history

The concept of Empire is considered as a demonstration of its indirect power, which sets the basic features of state, man and society. The Empire is interpreted also as a special form of the unity of the Power and the People, having its strength reserve, defense mechanisms and ways of providing for civilization identity as well as sociocultural continuity. The study of the Empire and the Strife is characterized as a complex problem of the Russian studies. The authors offer a conceptual scheme, linking periodically occurring systemic crises of the Russian state and society and the character of Russia as an Empire.
